Wow, it has been so long since I participated in I Heart Faces! Sad! Things have been a bit crazy around here lately. :)Anywho, I decided I had to make time for it this week because the theme is Celebrating Teenagers! :) I LOVE to celebrate teenagers and I have some pictures of my teen girls from last year's Young Ladies Retreat that I love.

So this week on I Heart Faces, the theme is dramatic black and white. :)Here is a shot of my brother-in-law and niece at the lake... I love the feeling of awe when you are surrounded by God's creation-I just feel so small. :)

Ok, so while we ALWAYS love faces, this week we are focusing on hands and faces don't even have to be in the picture! :)
So it turns out that except for the picture I used a few weeks ago for texture I have next to no pictures of hands. :) But I like this one...I took it at the beach last summer.

 This week's challenge on I Heart Faces is Texture! YAY! :) Now, sadly, I still don't have photoshop or anything that will allow me to add different textures, but I LOVE this picture of my new nephew, Joshua! Yay! Another I Heart Faces Challenge!


 This week we are supposed to share a picture that captures families of all shapes and sizes, ages and uniqueness! So my pick is this one: We had fun taking this picture the Day after Christmas. It was SO NICE having all the Wards together! Seriously, they are the best family ever! Even Grandma and Grandpa are being goofy! Notice that my husband is apparantly preggo and you can't even see Uncle Greg's head because he is behind Evan's legs! LOLBeing a Ward is FABulous! :) 

This week on I Heart Faces, they wanted us to post up to five (!!!!) pictures that make us laugh! LOVE it!!! :)

I worked on a bunch of different pictures but couldn't decide, so my hubby made the final decisions!

So I am back from Young Ladies Retreat! We had a BLAST!!!

We had a special dinner our last night there and we told our teen girls to dress up for it and get their hair and makeup done special. They were all really bummed that they didn't pack anything nicer to wear...until they found out that we had brought formals for all of them to wear to dinner!!! It was a huge surprise and boy, were they excited!!! This is a couple of them walking into the closet! It was so much fun!!!
